Power Grid Modules
4 total power grid modules being handled simultaneously by 8 total grippers. Custom gripper jaws were engineered to safely encapsulate the modules. An overhead crane was used in conjunction with a smart lifting device with float mode and virtual limit technology.
Propane Tanks
Propane tanks are manipulated with a custom vacuum lift device with floating handlebar controls. 1.5 fold bellows vacuum cups easily sealed onto the outside diameter of a propane tank. A rotary actuator powered a manipulation from 0 to 90 degrees.
Aluminum Recycling
A wide range mechanical gripper with serrated teeth on the gripper jaws was used to pick and place up to 5 compacted blocks made from aluminum cans. This recycling facility made huge improvements in safety and productivity by eliminating injuries and waste with an AIMCO ArtJIB, air hoist, and custom end effector.
